Woman in hospital following crash on A92

A woman is in Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for treatment following an overnight crash on the A92 at Newport-on-Tay.

Emergency services were called to reports of a two-car crash at around 12.25am on Monday 18 September and the road was closed for several hours afterwards.

Police have confirmed they are trying to trace the driver of one of the cars and that officers are following a positive line of enquiry.
