Person airlifted to hospital and man charged following A9 crash

A man has been charged following a two-vehicle crash on the A9 near Pitlochry on Sunday.

Emergency services were called to the incident near Fonab Castle at around 11.30am on 15 September.

One person was taken to hospital by air ambulance.

A man has now been charged in connection with road traffic offences.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 11.30am on Sunday, 15 September, 2024, we were called to a two-vehicle crash on the A9, near Fonab Castle, Pitlochry.

"Emergency services attended, and one person was taken by air ambulance to hospital.

“The male driver of one of the vehicles was charged in connection with road traffic offences and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
