Investigation launched after dead puppies found in Dundee home

Animal welfare officers were called to the property on Saturday.

The SSPCA has launched an investigation after a number of dead puppies were removed from a property in Dundee.

Animal welfare officers attended a house on Mossgiel Place in Linlathen on Saturday, where the puppies were discovered.

The incident is now being investigated.

A spokesperson said: "The Scottish SPCA is aware of this incident and it is an ongoing investigation.

"As such we are unable to give further information at this time.

"However, if anyone has any information in relation to this incident, please call the confidential animal helpline directly on 03000 999 999."
