Woman jailed for attack at party in Swindon
A 21 year old was sentenced to two years and eight months in custody for inflicting grievous bodily harm to a 17-year-old boy on Monday
Drew Stanton-Foreman, aged just 21, stabbed a teenage boy with a champagne glass in what was described as an unprovoked attack at a house party in Swindon.
The attack occurred at a belated birthday party at a house party located in Ferndale road back in June 2023.
The victim sustained a large wound to his neck which could have very nearly been fatal, following Stanton-Foreman's attack where she entered the kitchen where the victim was discussing football and smashed the champagne glass on a side counter before striking the 17 year old.
Following this, she turned to others questioning as to whether they wanted to be stabbed too.
Complex Crime Investigator Catherine Baird said: "Stanton-Foreman took no accountability for her actions, putting forward a guilty plea to a section 20 GBH, which is causing serious harm without intent.
"She claimed she must have been spiked. However, toxicology reports did not support this; she was just very drunk."
Drew Stanton-Foreman, was jailed for two years and eight months after pleading guilty to inflicting GBH with intent.
