Woman found dead beside A419 in Swindon

A woman has been found dead next to the A419 in Swindon.

The road was closed for several hours, from the White Hart roundabout to the Rat Trap roundabout, after her body was discovered beside the carriageway.

Detectives have now confirmed they are not treating the death as suspicious.

The woman's next of kin have been informed. Officers say their "thoughts are with them at this incredibly difficult time".

The road has since been reopened.
