Woman assaulted in hotel in Swindon

Police in Swindon are looking to trace a member of the public who intervened during an assault at a hotel.

It happened at the Leonardo Hotel on Fleming Way, around 12.50am on May 11.

A woman was pushed up against the lift and grabbed by the neck by a man.

Anyone with information is being urged to contact police on 101.
