Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a knife point robbery in Swindon.

It happened in the early hours of Sunday morning (22 January), at around 12.50am.

Police say a 15-year-old boy had his bicycle stolen from him by three suspects who had their faces covered and with one brandishing a machete.

The incident happened within Shaw Ridge Park, Swindon, next to the exercise area.

Officers say the suspects came out of a bush and pointed the machete at the boy, demanding he dropped his belongings.

The boy was not injured, but his bike, a grey Marin Bolinas Ridge mountain bike, was taken from him.

The suspects are described as wearing all black clothing with ski masks.

They headed towards the bridge that passes over Tewkesbury Way, in the general area of Grange Park.
