Wiltshire police urge residents be vigilant after man enters properties under false pretenses
Incidents were reported last month.
Wiltshire Police are reminding residents to be vigilant after a man entered two properties in Swindon under false pretenses.
The incidents happened in Taw Hill, Swindon last month, with the male claiming to be from the local housing association.
Properties on February 2nd and 14th were entered, with photos taken inside one of the locations.
Wiltshire police said:
"We have liaised with the Housing Association who have confirmed the man is not an employee.
We’d urge residents to be vigilant of callers to their address, and ensure anyone attending their home has identification. Do not let anyone you are unsure of into your address. Call 101 if you have concerns."
