Suspected man in Swindon shooting recalled to prison as enquiries continue

Police say they continue to carry out detailed enquiries following the incident in Toothill, Swindon, over the weekend.

A 32-year-old local man arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder has been interviewed and released under investigation. However, he has been recalled to prison for breaching the conditions of his licence.

It follows an incident at a property in Warneford Close, Toothill, shortly before 9.30pm on Saturday (09/10) where shots were fired at a window.

Thankfully nobody was injured.

Police say the public is likely to see an ongoing police presence in the area while they carry out further enquiries related to the investigation.
