'Make Safe Choices' say Wiltshire Police after 1,000 caught speeding

More than 10,000 people have been clocked too fast on our roads in 2024

Over 1,000 people have been caught speeding on Wiltshire's roads in November.

Police are calling for us to think about how we drive and the condition in which we drive, with Officers clamping down on drink/drug drivers this month during the festive season.

Speeding is one the 'fatal five' driving offences which can lead to serious and fatal crashes on our roads.

November's figure of 1,062 is a slight drop on October's 1,137, but the total figure has now passed 10,000 people caught above the limit in Wiltshire.

The Force is urging us to make safe choices this month.

The call for safe driving comes the Constabulary is clamping down on drink and drug driving during the festive period.
