Uninsured driver pulled over on the M4

Three men, including one from Swindon were arrested on Sunday morning

Three people were arrested after officers stopped a vehicle on the M4 on Sunday morning (16/10).

Swindon Police say "due to the nature" in which a Citroen C4 was being driven, officers stopped the vehicle at Membury Services, shortly before 12.30 am.

After doing checks, it was found the driver was not insured for that vehicle - meaning the car has been seized.

Three people were arrested, including the driver.

A man in his 20s, from London, who was driving the car, plus two occupants - another man from London, and a man in his 30s from Swindon, were arrested on suspicion of immigration offences.

They were taken into custody.
