Two teenagers arrested after stabbing in Swindon

Two 17 year-olds have been arrested and released on bail - after a man was stabbed during a robbery in Swindon.

It happened just before 10.30 yesterday morning - on Loxley Walk in Park South.

The teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent - one has also been arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis.

Detective sergeant James Rodrigues of the Operation Fortitude team said: “Officers take reports of incidents of this nature extremely seriously and we understand the shock and upset it has caused in the local community.

“Officers worked tirelessly overnight to identify two individuals who have now been arrested in connection with the incident, but we believe more individuals were involved.
