Three men who supplied crack cocaine across Swindon have been sentenced, despite being on the run.

26 year-old Kennedy Campbell of Enfield , 29 year-old Bernard Sindano of Walthamstow, and Ricardo Wright, who's 24 and of Croydon have been sentenced in their absence, after failing to attend court.

This investigation was part of Wiltshire police's county lines operation, which has been stretching back to 2017.

Police tracked their phone numbers and were quickly able to confirm that Campbell was the linchpin of the network which distributed drugs worth thousands across the Swindon area.

Campbell was given a 7 year 2 month sentence, whilst Sindano and Wright will have to serve over 5 years each.

PC Emma Rice said: ā€œThis was an excellent piece of work by the Fortitude team to get these three drug dealers off the streets.

ā€œCounty lines drug dealers like these ruin lives and our team were determined to stop at nothing to ensure they were brought to justice.

ā€œThese convictions and sentences show that we wonā€™t let county borders stop us from catch criminals who are trying to supply Wiltshire with illegal drugs.ā€
