Three arrested in 'separate but football-related' incidents in Swindon

Three 'separate but football-related arrests' have been made over the weekend by police after Swindon Town's FA Cup match over the weekend.
The Robins bowed out of the FA Cup in the first round, having taken a 4-7 loss at home against Aldershot Town.
On Saturday (November 4), Wiltshire Police tell us they were called out at about 16:30 on Saturday afternoon to reports of disorder at the County Ground Hotel.
Those arrested in were taken in by police for criminal damage of a vehicle, assault of a steward and for throwing an item onto the pitch.
Nobody was injured, and investigations into what happened continue.
In a statement, a spokesperson from the force told us: “At around 4.30pm on Saturday (04/11) we responded to reports of a disorder at the County Ground Hotel in Swindon.
"Officers deployed as part of the wider football event were quickly on the scene and were able to separate the groups involved.
"There were no reported injuries at the time but an investigation is ongoing. Three separate but football related arrests were made throughout the afternoon.
"Our enquiries remain ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact us on 101 quoting log 66 of November 4.”
