Teenager robbed of e-bike and phone in Swindon

A teenager's been robbed of his electric bike and mobile phone in an incident in Swindon.

The victim, an 18 year old man, was threatened with a knife by two males on the cycle path between Purton Road and Westmead.

It happened at around 4.30pm on Tuesday last week (13th May).

The offenders were on a grey moped and a black Surron-style e-bike.

They're thought to be aged between 16 and 18, and were wearing all black clothing, face coverings and gloves.

The phone that was stolen was later recovered after being dropped or discarded by the suspects, as they left in the direction of Westmead.

There's an appeal for any witnesses, or anyone with information, to contact Wiltshire Police on 101, quoting reference number 54250057992.
