Teenager injured in Royal Wotton Bassett crash

His injuries aren't thought to be life threatening

Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage after a teenage boy was injured in a road traffic collision in Royal Wootton Bassett yesterday (18 May).

It happened on Station Road, near Premier Stores, at about 5pm and involved a small white Ford Fiesta van and a 17-year-old male pedestrian.

He was taken to Great Western Hospital for treatment for a head injury. However, his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The driver of the van remained at the scene. No arrests have been made.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this incident or anyone with dash cam footage.
