Teenager in 'life threatening condition' following stabbing in Upper Stratton
Swindon Police say they were called to the scene just after 8pm this evening (June 8)
A teenager is reported by Swindon Police to be in a 'life threatening condition' this evening after a stabbing in Upper Stratton.
The force were called out at just after 8pm to the incident at Meadowcroft Fields following reports of 'disorder' involving a group of teenagers.
The 15-year-old victim was treated on the scene by the emergency services before he was taken to Bristol's Southmead Hospital by air ambulance.
Extensive searches of the area by the police continue, with the force saying there is a 'heightened' presence in the area following the incident.
