A teenager's been charged with possession of an offensive weapon in Royal Wootton Bassett.

The 17 year old was detained yesterday after police received intelligence of a planned disorder between two groups of young people.

He's been bailed - with the conditions of not to enter the town and a curfew in place at his address in Trowbridge.

In a statement, Wiltshire Police said: "We are continuing to work closely with local schools and Children’s Services to prevent further incidents and safeguard all involved."
