The winner of this year's series of The Apprentice was crowned last night, as Swindon's Kathryn Burn faced Harpreet Kaur in the final.

The 29-year-old tried to persuade Lord Sugar to invest £250,000 in her online pyjama brand, rather than Harpreet's dessert business.

After working through eleven weeks of challenges and a set of interviews, the candidate lost out on the investment - which instead went to Harpreet.

Speaking on The Apprentice: You're Hired, after the final episode aired, she said: "Obviously I'm a little bit disappointed, but I'm so happy for Harpreet and I'm proud of her".
