Swindon Town will pay tribute to former player Rod Thomas ahead of this Saturday's fixture against Grimsby Town.
Before kick off at 3pm, a minute’s silence will be held in memory of the defender, who died at the age of 78.
Rod joined Swindon Town from Gloucester City in 1964, and helped them lift the League Cup in 1969.
In a statement, Swindon Town FC said: "Rod Thomas was known not only for his talent and dedication on the pitch but also for his character, professionalism, and love for the game, qualities that left a lasting impression on teammates, staff, and supporters alike.
"The tribute 9on Saturday) will offer fans the opportunity to come together to remember Rod and celebrate his contribution to Swindon Town and the wider football community.
"The club extends its heartfelt condolences to Rod’s family and friends during this difficult time, and encourages supporters to join in honouring his legacy prior to the start of Saturday’s fixture."
