Swindon Town Football Club have come to an agreed decision with the English Football League after failing to pay player's wages.

The club was charged with misconduct by the EFL for failing to comply with regulation 63.7 after players were not paid in June 2021.

The EFL have also given them a suspended 3-point deduction that won't come into effect unless Swindon Town breaches regulation 63.7 again on or before 30 June 2022.

The club stresses that this is an issue that was inherited from the previous owners. They say that all players and staff have now been paid what they were owed, and they will continue to be paid on time.
