Swindon Town have paid tribute to a five-year-old boy who has passed away following his battle with cancer.

Link was the club's mascot at their away game against Oldham Athletic earlier this season.

In a statement on their Twitter, they said: "Swindon Town are incredibly saddened to learn of the passing of little Link, who was our mascot away at Oldham Athletic earlier this season.

"Link amazed us with his bravery and the way that he lived life with such joy, and our lives are forever better for knowing him.

"Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this incredibly sad time."
