Swindon Town 'delighted' by new signing
19-year-old Pharrell Johnson is joining from Nottingham Forest
Swindon Town Football Club says it's "delighted" to sign Nottingham Forest defender Pharrell Johnson.
The 19-year-old is set to join the club on a permanent deal subject to EFL approval.
The club say's he's been involved in Nottingham Forest U21s EFL Trophy Games this season, taking on the likes of Accrington and Carlisle.
The teenager, who is 6ft 4 inches tall, has also been a regular in both Forest's U18s and U21s teams, featuring 17 times in the U18 Premier League.
Johnson also played twice in Forest's FA Youth Cup run, which saw him face Manchester United in the final in 2022.
The new signing comes two days after the club announced its parting ways with its manager Michael Flynn and assistant Wayne Hatswell.
Flynn was the club's fifth manager in the last year.
Gavin Gunning will take charge of the first team on an interim head coach basis.
