Swindon Town's manager has been nominated for the League Two 'Manager of the Month Award'.

During October, Ben Garner's side earned 13 points in six league games, a run which included four away wins. The Robins have now won their last six matches on the road.

Town are currently fifth in League Two, with 26 points from 15 games, and on course to qualify for the play-offs at the end of the season.

This is a start to the campaign that most Town supporters will be delighted with, given the turmoil that has surrounded the club in recent years.

As well as Garner, a new chairman and Director of Football were appointed during the summer:

Garner is competing against the managers of Port Vale, Exeter City and Walsall for the October prize.
