Man charged in connection to Swindon town centre stabbing

A man has been charged in connection with a stabbing in Swindon town centre.

Officers were called to Temple Street at around 5pm on Friday (28th February) to reports a stabbing.

A man in his 30s suffered a serious injury to his face and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Temple Street was cordoned off after the incident.

42-year-old Paul Bruce, of Bowman Street, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent.

Bruce was remanded in custody to appear at Swindon Magistrates' Court today (3rd March).
