A man who repeatedly breached his Criminal Behaviour Order in Swindon town centre has been jailed.

Martin Bradford, 48, of Offerton Road, Swindon, was jailed for 20 weeks at Swindon Magistrates’ Court yesterday (November 3) after pleading guilty to several counts of breaching his CBO, which forbade him from entering certain stores and begging outside shops in Swindon town centre.

Swindon Inspector David Tippetts said: “Bradford is consistently causing antisocial behaviour in and around Swindon town centre and has breached his CBO on numerous occasions.

“This sentence shows that the court takes this matter seriously and also provides some much needed respite to the community from his behaviour."
