Swindon man banned from roads for drink driving

Zico Rodrigues pleaded guilty at a hearing on Wednesday and was disqualified from driving for 15 months.

A driver from Swindon has been banned from the roads after being caught drink driving.

In the early hours of January 22 this year, 39 year old Zico Rodrigues, of Kitchener Street, was pulled over by Wiltshire Police’s Roads Policing Unit on Kitchener Street.

He was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol and subsequently blew over the limit in a breath test.

Rodrigues was arrested and charged with driving a motor vehicle over the legal limit for alcohol.

He pleaded guilty at a hearing on Wednesday (February 22) and was disqualified from driving for 15 months, fined £484 and required to pay a victim surcharge of £194 and court costs of £85.
