Tonight's virtual conference aims to alleviate vaccine fears within South West BAME community

A dedicated Zoom meeting for the BAME community about Coronavirus vaccination takes place virtually this evening for people in the South West.

It is being hosted by the Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Clinical Commissioning Group.

‘Opening Doors’ is being billed as a conversation about Covid-19 vaccinations, where people from those communities will get the opportunity to a panel of experts.

Th stellar panel include:

• Dr Nima Satish – Clinical lead for diabetes

• Gill May – Director of nursing and quality

• Steve Maddern – Director of public health, Swindon

• Pradeep Bhardwaj – Chairman, Swindon Hindu Temple
