Wiltshire's Burglary and Gang Violence team executed a series of warrants in Swindon yesterday.

They were supported by teams from HQ Crime, Local Police Tasking Team, Intelligence, Firearms, Dogs and the Neighbourhood team.

The six people, aged in their 20s, were arrested and cash, class A drugs and a number of motorbikes were seized from the addresses.

DI Dean Garvin of the Serious Organised Crime Unit (SOCU) said: “Today’s warrants are the result of intelligence provided to us by the community.

“Wiltshire is becoming hard ground for burglars to operate in and this will only get worse.”
