RIAT 2024: Day Two

Aviation fans are in Gloucestershire for the second day of the Royal International Air Tattoo.

Over 150,000 people will attend the Royal International Air Tattoo this weekend. Aviation fans can expect to see over 250 aircraft from 30 different nations.

Today the Red Arrows display team took to the skies. The nine-ship display team organised a special routine for this year to commemorate their 60th anniversary.

The Royal Navy were also in the air over RAF Fairford with their Leonardo Wildcat display team.

And as ever the event attracts air forces from across the globe. With displays today from almost twenty different nations, including the Canadian, Norwegian, Slovenian, and Czech air forces.

On the ground static festival goers were treated a host of statics displays, including the F-16 Fighting Falcon's which are celebrating 50 years since their first flight.
