Nest of robins set up in Swindon Borough Council worker's hat
They've said it serves as a warning to look out for birds
Swindon might be famous for its robins generally - but it seems they're getting everywhere!
The Borough Council's shared pictures on social media of a nest that's been set up in a hat at one of their work sites.
Four eggs had been laid amongst the leaves and twigs placed in a bump cap.
Staff kept it safe, with three baby robins hatching safely.
The find has prompted a warning from the Council for us to be on the look out for birds, and do our best not to disturb them.
In their post, the authority said:
"Remember to take a moment to check before you start tidying, clearing or moving things around. You might just be playing host to some unexpected guests.
"If you do find a nest, the best thing you can do is leave it undisturbed.
"It might be the perfect excuse to delay that long-overdue DIY job, but more importantly, it’s a simple way to support the wildlife around us."
