Queen remains Wiltshire Air Ambulance patron
Camilla's been involved since 2009
Her Majesty Queen Camilla is to remain a patron of Wiltshire Air Ambulance, it's been announced today.
After his succession to the throne last year, HM King Charles and his wife have been reviewing which charities they'll be officially supporting and bosses at WAA say they're delighted that she will continue to back their work.
She first became involved with the charity back in 2009 when Duchess of Cornwall and officially opened the new airbase in 2018 (pictured).
Wiltshire Air Ambulance chairman Rob Kevan said, "Her Majesty has always taken a keen interest in our charity and we were honoured to welcome her to our fundraising concert in Salisbury in February.
"Our charity is so well supported by the public and local businesses, and we are really pleased to have the continued patronage of Queen Camilla.”
