Quartet of Wiltshire farmers up for national awards

Farms across the county have been nominated

Four Wiltshire farms have been nominated for awards by Farmers Weekly.

The awards celebrate the UK's best farms, aiming to spread best practice and educate the public on the role farmers play in modern society.

Simon and John Martin who run Nunton Farm, near Salisbury, are up for Dairy Farmer of the Year.

Nick and Lucy Tyler, who own Kingsplay Farming in Calne have been nominated for Mixed Farmer of the Year.

Cools Farm owner Tom Stinton is up for Young Farmer of the Year, while Dan and Catherine Mercer, who own Westhill Farm are up for Beef Farmer of the Year.

Judging is already underway and the winners will be announced in a live ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, on Thursday 3rd October 2024.
