Police officers have been carrying out 'proactive patrols' in Swindon over the Bank Holiday weekend.

They say it follows continued reports of anti-social behaviour being carried out by teenagers in and around The Orbital Centre.

On social media, officers said: "Swindon Police Special Constabulary Section Leader and the team carried out proactive patrols over the Bank Holiday weekend because of the continued reports of teenagers causing ASB at The Orbital Centre.

We will continue to patrol these areas in the coming weeks and month to help support our communities and the public. Some of these teenagers are banned from the Orbital Centre and if entered are technically committing an offence. If anyone witnesses ASB in the area, please help us by reporting it via our website or 101."
