Road near Swindon closed after incident involving lorry and power line

Part of the B4192 is closed this afternoon after an incident in which a 'lorry driver collided with a power line'.

Closures are in place at Preston and Whittonditch.

In a statement, officers said: "Please be advised we are currently dealing with an incident on the B4192 at Aldbourne in which a lorry driver has collided with a power line.

"Closures are in place at Preston and Whittonditch.

"The road is expected to remain closed for several hours while power line is repaired."
