A plea for drivers in Wiltshire to watch their speed on the roads has been made by the Police.

The force have revealed their latest monthly stats of people caught speeding in February - with 708 vehicles caught speeding in the shortest month of the year.

It's a huge rise on January's figures, where 388 people were caught beyond the speed limit.

632 of February's speedsters were offered a Speed Awareness Course, with 65 drivers fined and points put on their licence.

11 people are due to appear in court.

The message from the force is "be safe, drive smart and watch your speed."
