Swindon football legend Paul Bodin reveals prostate cancer diagnosis

Swindon Town legend Paul Bodin has revealed he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer.
The 59-year-old played with Swindon Town twice – between 1988-91 and 1992-96.
The Welsh defender also has 23 caps for Wales.
Messages of well wishes have come flooding in online.
The Football association of Wales said in a post on X, they are ”saddened to hear the news”.
In the comments, Swindon Town and Welsh fans alike have celebrated his legacy and wish him a speedy recovery.
Football commentator Chris Wise said: “You couldn’t wish to meet a nicer bloke than Paul Bodin.”
