Motorbike rider dies after crash in Ashton Keynes

Wiltshire Police have confirmed a motorcyclist has died after a crash in Ashton Keynes.

It follows an incident on July 28th.

In a statement, officers said: "A motorcyclist has died following a collision in Ashton Keynes.

"At approximately 5.25pm on Sunday July 28, emergency services were called to the B4696 junction of Cox’s Hill following a report of a collision involving a motorbike and a Volkswagen Tiguan.

"The motorcyclist, a man in his 50s from Swindon, sadly died at the scene.

"His next of kin has been informed and our thoughts are with them at this difficult time. They are being supported by specialist officers.

"Any witnesses to the collision, or anyone who may have dash cam footage which could assist our investigation, should call the Serious Collision Investigation team on 01225 694597 and quote log number 279 of July 28."
