Man seriously injured in Baydon crash

Police are now appealing for witnesses

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was seriously injured following a collision in Baydon yesterday.

Emergency services were called to a two-vehicle collision on Baydon Road shortly after 3.30pm yesterday (21/03).

It involved a blue BMW and a red Renault Laguna.

The driver of the Renault, a man in his 60s, was airlifted to Southampton Hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the BMW, a man in his 30s, was taken to Great Western Hospital with a minor head injury.

Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or who saw either vehicle shortly beforehand, to call our Collision Investigation Unit.
