Man seriously injured after Swindon stabbing

Police want to hear from anyone who saw what happened

A man has been left with serious injuries, after a stabbing in Swindon.

The attack is throught to have taken place on Cavendish Square, in the Park South area, at around 11:30pm on Thursday 30 March.

The victim, a man in his 20s, has been treated in hospital for his knife wounds. Despite the severity of the injuries, police believe they aren't life changing.

'Please call us if you know anything'

Officers are now urgently appealing for anyone who saw what happened to come forwards.

Acting Detective Sergeant Chris Hughes said: "Although this took place quite late at night, it's possible that the incident was witnessed or caught on dash cam - any information, no matter how insignificant seeming, can help.

"Please call us if you know anything".

Any witnesses are being urged to call 101, quoting log 318 of 30 March.
