Man in his 60s suffers life-threatening injuries in Swindon collision

Police appeal for witnesses after Whitworth Road crash

A pedestrian in his 60s has been left with life-threatening injuries following a collision with a car in Swindon.

The incident occurred at around 6pm on 1st February near the Moonrakers Pub on Whitworth Road, close to the junction with Cricklade Road.

The man was struck by a green Suzuki Vitara and was taken to hospital, where he is receiving treatment for serious injuries.

The driver of the car, a man in his 70s, stopped at the scene. No arrests have been made.

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with dash cam footage of the collision to come forward.
