Police appeal for witnesses following Easter Sunday assault in Swindon

Officers investigating a disorder in Manchester Road, Swindon, are appealing for witnesses.

Between 10pm and 11.30pm on Easter Sunday (March 31st), a man in his 40s received facial injuries after being assaulted at the corner of Manchester Road and Gladstone Street.

Four men aged between 20 and 44 have been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. One of these has been released with no further action, while the other three have been released on conditional bail while enquiries continue.
