A man from Swindon has been given a 40 week sentence, suspended for 18 months for breaching a Sexual Risk Order.

58 year-old Sean Morris , of Massinger Walk, pleaded guilty at Swindon Magistrates Court - to two breaches of his court order banning him from entering the Broadgreen area between 5.30pm and 7am.

The breaches happened on August 31 and September 12.

A Sexual Risk Order is given to someone by the court who poses a risk to the public of a sexual nature, without a conviction.

PC Katie Owers said: "Morris poses a particular risk to vulnerable women and sex workers. We secured this court order following a large amount of intelligence given to us by these women and partner agencies.

"It is vital that anyone who has concerns about someone's behaviour to let us know so that we can protect those vulnerable individuals.

"You can provide information by calling 101, or through our website: Report a crime | Wiltshire Police"
