Man from Calne in court charged with attempted murder

A 62 year-old man from Calne has been charged with attempted murder.
It's after a woman in her 30s was stabbed on Saturday afternoon - suffering serious but not life threatening injuries.
Martin Cundliffe, of Lawrence Drive, appeared before Swindon Magistrates court and was remanded in custody.
He's due back in court in January.
