Man dies following serious assault at Wiltshire motocross event

A 34 year old has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent

A man has died after a serious assault at a Foxhill motocross event last week.

Police were called to reports of a serious assault at the Foxhill Motorcross event on Thursday evening.

The victim, a man in his thirties, was rushed to Bristol's Southmead Hospital with serious injuries.

He died of his injuries yesterday.

34 year old Ben Starr, of Woodside Avenue in Ripley, has since been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent.

He appeared at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on Saturday and was released on bail until his next appearance on 27 September.
