Man charged after explosive thrown at emergency workers at Swindon Town game

A man 's been charged with assaulting emergency workers - after an explosive was thrown before a Swindon Town match.

A device was thrown towards officers prior to the Swindon Town versus Bristol Rovers game on 22 January.

22 year-old Lewis Hill has been charged with four counts of common assault of an emergency worker and one count of causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal, namely a police dog.

He will be summoned to court in due course.
