It happened near junction 16 on August 13.
A man's been banned from the roads for three and a half years after crashing his car while drink driving near Royal Wootton Bassett.
31 year-old Aaron Watkins, of Pellau Road, Port Talbot, was involved in a single vehicle crash on the M4 eastbound near junction 16 on August 13 - when the car he was driving rolled onto its side.
He escaped serious injury but was subsequently charged with drink driving after blowing over the legal limit.
He pleaded guilty to the offence and was also fined £100.
For the past month, Wiltshire Police has been running a Road Safety Campaign focusing on enforcement and raising awareness of the fatal five offences: speeding, drink and drug driving, using a phone while driving, not wearing a seatbelt, and careless or dangerous driving.
