Wiltshire Police were called to the scene of a disorder this afternoon and have arrested a man on suspicion of GBH as a result.

Officers were called to the scene in the areas between Manchester Road and Alfred Street shortly after 2pm.

Three people have suffered stab wounds, but none are believed to be serious.

"We do not believe this to be a random attack although it is very early stages of our investigation," Inspector Steph Love said.

" Residents can expect to see a heightened police presence in the area while enquiries are carried out this afternoon and over the coming days.

"If you have any concerns, please speak to an officer."

Anyone who witnessed the incident should call 101 and quote log number 195 of November 13.
