Man arrested over noxious substance incident at Swindon nightclub
The incident happened in the early hours of Sunday morning (16 March)
Police in Swindon have confirmed a man has been arrested after an incident at a nightclub over the weekend.
We're told the 'suspicious incident' happened at around 4.20am, when a man was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs and administering a noxious substance after police were alerted by doorstaff.
In a statement, Swindon Police said: "We are appealing for witnesses following a suspicious incident in Kioki nightclub, Swindon, in the early hours of this morning (16/03).
"At around 4.20am a 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs and administering a noxious substance after police were alerted by doorstaff.
"Officers would particularly like to speak to a woman who tried to speak to them outside the nightclub but were unable to take her details at the time.
"If you saw anything suspicious or have information that could help with our enquiries, please contact us on 101, quoting reference number 54250032328."
