Man arrested on suspicion of arson in Swindon

A man in his 50's has been arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life following an incident in Swindon last night (02/06).

At around 11pm officers were called to a disturbance on Portal Road where a flammable substance, suspected to be petrol, was located alight on a driveway of a property.

Shortly after, a man was arrested and remains in custody for questioning.
